Digital Renter emerged winner of the e-nkap Hackathon in Douala. After four days of coding, this team of Fongoh Martin was able to integrate the e-nkap API into the Digital Renter platform. E-nkap is a Mobile payment aggregator, a product of Maviance Cameroon. I t has come to solve payment problems for E-commerce Entrepreneurs in Cameroon. Participants at the Hackathon have automatically joined the Maviance team on developers to distribute the API to customers who may eventually want it. Read more of this in this post.
The Cameroon government plans to create a technology ecosystem in Yaounde meanwhile Silicon Mountain has been existing for over two decades in the South West region. Silicon Mountaineers do not find this funny. It comes as competition to them and the unwillingness of the government to support them.
