Ense, founded and run by the co-founder of Venmo, is a social media platform that allows anyone with a smartphone to record up to five minutes of any sound and share it with the world. The idea is to allow people to share audio instantly in a casual way, at any time. We believe the problem our company is solving is text. So much of human emotion is lost when we try to share our thoughts in writing, and our vision is to see that millions of people feel comfortable to share and connect on social media in a way that is far more meaningful and personal than Twitter or Instagram.
